The guides in this section are not about one village or one activity: they help you plan a stay as a whole, place sites in relation to one another and understand the issues facing the territory. They complement the pages on towns, landmarks, nature, activities, accommodation and local food.

The first family gathers planning guides. A weekend itinerary in the Semois valley suggests a sequence of realistic stops; a guide to places in the Ardennes helps you spot sites that combine well; the valley's tourist guide gives an overview of villages, viewpoints and castles; a page on outdoor tourism in Wallonia sets out the regulations, labels and cycling routes; finally, a guide to choosing where to sleep in the valley recalls the points to check before booking.

The second family is a series of in-depth analyses, grouped under the name Observatory. These texts are longer and better documented than the practical guides; they show their sources, separate facts from hypotheses and are not meant to steer a purchase.
